Everyone could use an extra set of wooden spoons, but do they have to be so plain? Why not play them up with pretty stripes! They’re be great holiday gifts for all that holiday cooking. Keep reading to see the full tutorial
Supplies:
- Wooden spoons
- Paint (I actually found fabric paint stayed on better after washing than acrylic)
- Masking tape
- Foam brush
- Newspaper or other scrap paper
Tear off a piece of tape that will fit around the spoon and start to tape off the areas that you don’t want to paint, making sure to line up edges nicely
Carefully press down on and arounc each of the tape edges to avoid any leaks
Do the same for each of your other spoons
Pour some paint onto newspaper or paper plates
Using your foam brush, paint the areas between the tape
Do the same with the other spoons and let them dry. Then, peel of the tape!
