The National Stationery Show was in New York City last month, and today I'm excited to share one installment in a series of my favorites from the show. I took a couple of weeks to go through all of my notes and photographs and to collect my thoughts (seriously, it's a lot to take in, especially as a first time attendee), and I've narrowed it down to the best of the best in four categories: Mom; Babies and Kids; Parties; and Home. See entire coverage of NSS on Momtastic here!
I'm going to share my top picks for Mom today. Whether your office is in or out of home (or even if your full-time gig is CEO of your household!), keeping yourself organized is a huge boost and can help keep your head screwed on correctly. I've always been a little obsessive about my work files and binders being super buttoned up (although, sadly, that doesn't translate to my home life), and now that I'm a work from home mom, it's SO much more important. If you're not inclined to be super buttoned up, it always helps to buy pretty stationery that compels you to want to use it, right? Well, that's where these fabulous finds come in. I hope you love them as much as I do. (And keep an eye out for my other three installments!)

Gold Foil Office Supplies from Teresa Collins
Gold foil continues to be a huge stationery trend, and you know what? I'm totally okay with that---especially when it's applied in graphic, modern patterns like in the new office supplies line from Teresa Collins. I'm particularly in love with the aqua and gold patterned binders that I may have returned to see a couple of times.

Coloful Office Supplies from Poppin
Poppin is all about colorful, bright, and modern office supplies that can cheer up any cubicle in seconds. I discovered this brand about six months ago and immediately fell in love. I was so excited to see they were exhibiting at NSS, and with its stunning color coded rainbow display, it was impossible to avoid making a beeline for their booth. It was great to finally see many of their products in person (I own a pair of their white scissors, but that's all I've ever gotten my hands on), and I'm absolutely in love with some of the vibrant patterns they're starting to introduce into their collection. Plus, there's a healthy dose of black, white, and gold, and you know I can't resist any of the above.

Watercolor Notecards from Mara Mi
Tidbit about me that only my former Target coworkers know: I hoard cards. If they're blank but have a great design, even better. I'm absolutely awful at remembering birthdays and other important events, so I have a stash of cards for all occasions that I pull from as needed. When I saw Mara Mi's stunning line of painterly all-occasion boxed notecards, I knew they needed to become a part of my collection soon. They're so colorful and cheerful, so they'd absolutely bring a smile to the face of whomever receives one.

Patterned Office Supplies from The Pink Orange
I've known Rebecca, the owner of The Pink Orange, for a number of years through my past as a wedding and party blogger. I was so happy to finally meet her in person at the show, and was able to check out her fantastic new line of office storage and supplies. The gold details make all of her pieces a great neutral pick for any office, and I love the clean, modern aesthetic the line has.

Illustrated Notebooks from Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress
With a children's book illustrator in the family, I have a deep appreciation for great illustration. I absolutely adore the style of Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress, and this particular series of notebooks happened to be one of my favorite picks from the show.

Notebooks and Mini Scribblers from Betsywhite Stationery
Gia of Betsywhite Stationery is another internet buddy I've been in contact with for years. She debuted her wholesale line at the show this year, and I love her selection of notebooks and Mini Scribblers! These whimsical paper pieces are the perfect place to jot whatever is on your brain.

Task Notepads from Emily Ley
Emily Ley is the queen of well designed, organized living. She's taken it to a new level with her series of mom-centric notepads. A mom herself, Emily has created a pad for every occasion, including Notes to the Babysitter (including a space for every bit of information he or she will ever need!), a schedule tracker notepad for the wee ones (Remember when you had to keep track of diaper changes in the early days? I do, and I was barely awake for it---could have used this then!), and more all-purpose Notes from Mom when you have to send a note off to school or daycare. I love that the entire series is color coded (I have that obsessive side, remember?), and each pad has a little bit of gold foil to make each page you send off feel a little more special.
