We first bought our son his LeapPad a few years ago when we were getting ready to head out on a road trip. We needed something that didn’t require an internet connection, and something that he wouldn’t just be passively watching. We also wanted to avoid something that provided him with mindless games—we wanted it to be educational and fun for him! Thankfully we found the LeapPad!
It is so easy for both us and our son to use. The LeapPad comes with free games that are all educational and fun for him to play. You can add new games and educational videos from their shop, most of which are well priced. Every time we need him to be occupied on a trip, we load his LeapPad up with new games and activities, and he is one happy kid.
