Have you heard about the DIY magic that is freezer paper? Aside from wrapping your meats, this stuff makes a great stencil for painting your own designs on clothing, tablecloths, tote bags, stockings, blankets, and more. The sky’s the limit. You make a freezer paper stencil by drawing or printing your design on freezer paper, cutting it out, ironing it to your fabric, and from there you just paint away. Once the paint is dry, peel the paper off and admire your handiwork. Freezer paper is inexpensive—you can buy it in rolls at the supermarket, or buy a flat pack of freezer paper (Amazon, $7.37 for 40 sheets) which is a bit easier to use for freezer paper stencil purposes because it’s flat and can be fed through a printer.
Here are thirty-one of the cutest freezer paper stencil templates and designs from around the web. There’s definitely going to be one for you. (My vote’s for the teepee!)
