Cardi B recently announced her break up with rapper husband Offset via Instagram Live. The former couple tied the knot in 2017 and share two kids: 5-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave (via People).
Cardi B is also a stepmom to Offset’s kids from previous relationships. Offset is father to 13-year-old son Jordan Cephus, 8-year-old Kody Cephus, and 8-year-old daughter Kalea Marie Cephus. All five of their kids have appeared in Offset and Cardi B’s “Jealousy” music video, released in July 2023, making it a sweet family affair.
Coming to her role as stepmother, Cardi B told Essence in April 2022, “After we got married, that’s when I first met his kids. I always wanted them to love me, and they really do.”

Kulture Kiari Cephus
Kulture Kiari Cephus is Cardi B and Offset’s first child together. She was born on July 10, 2018, in Atlanta. Her middle name, Kiari, is Cardi B’s dad’s first name. Both parents often post adorable pictures of their baby girl on social media, especially on birthdays. Offset has never held back from spoiling his little girl. For her 4th birthday, the rapper gave Kulture $50k in cash (via People)!
The little one is a fashionista in the making. She was spotted wearing a black ball gown alongside her older sister, Kalea, in the May 2023 “The Little Mermaid” premiere (via People). Kulture and her three older siblings have even appeared on the cover of her father’s debut solo album, aptly named “Father of 4.”
The “picky” eater Kulture graduated from pre-kindergarten in June 2023. Also, instead of being a singer like her parents, she wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
Wave Set Cephus
Cardi B and Offset’s second kid, Wave Set Cephus, was born on Sept. 4, 2021. The rapper announced her second pregnancy at the BET Awards while performing with Migos and her then-husband (via People).
The couple shared the news of his birth via Instagram but did not show his face until their son was seven months old. They revealed the baby boy’s name and face in an Essence cover featuring the growing family in its May/June issue.
Jordan Cephus
Jordan Cephus is Offset’s oldest kid. He was born on Dec. 21, 2009, reportedly to a woman named Justine Watson (via OK!). Offset was a young father when Jordan was born. He was not around much as he was still trying to make a name for himself.
No one knew about Justine or Jordan until 2017, when she sued Offset for child support. Justine tried to get retroactive child support and $15,000 to cover attorney fees, and allegedly, Offset responded by requesting joint legal and physical custody (via Cosmopolitan).
In the years since then, the rapper seemed to have sorted things out with Justine. Jordon has been spotted accompanying his father to various events. In a 2019 cover story for Haute Living, Offset said, “The journey of fatherhood was kind of tough for me at first. I was trying to find myself… I definitely made some mistakes, but I have no regrets.”
Kody Cephus
Kody Cephus was born on March 2, 2015. He is Offset and his ex-Oriel Jamie’s son. Like his father, Kody loves music (via PopSugar). He even debuted a rap at age six called “Lamb Truck” in a video posted on Offset’s Instagram.
In the video, Kody danced and sang along to his track with his sister, Kalea. Cardi B adores her stepkids and treats them like her own. Even Offset was grateful to Cardi B for accepting his stepchildren with open arms.
Kalea Marie Cephus
Offset’s older daughter, Kalea Marie, was born in the same year as Kody. She was born on March 23, 2015. Kalea is the daughter of Offset and his ex-Shya L’amour, who is also a rapper. Although Offset was not present for Kalea in her early years, they share a great bond today.
Offset even rapped about missing out on the early years of her daughter’s life in his song “Father of 4”: “Kalea, you my first, first daughter / I missed the first years of your life, I’m sorry / Tell the truth, I ain’t really know if I was your father / Tell the truth, I really don’t even know your mama.”
Although Cardi B and Offset have gone their separate ways, their kids are still important to them.
