This notebook lined tee project is super easy and doesn’t require freezer paper or exact-o knives or any fancy tools like that. Hooray! Keep reading to find out how to make one yourself!
Supplies:
- T-shirt
- Masking tape
- Fabric paint in red and blue/turquoise
- Foam Brush
Start tearing off pieces of tape and lining them horizontally across the tee with only a small space in between (that’s the part you’ll be painting). Continue down the whole lengthof the tee
At the edge, add another piece of tape horizontally where you want the paint to stop
Slide a piece of cardboard in between the layers of the tee and start painting blue into those ‘cracks’ between the tape lines
When you’re done it should look like this. Let it dry for at least 30 minutes.
Now tear off the masking tape carefully
Now add another two lines of tape vertically a few inches in from the left side. Add two small pieces of horizontal tape where you want the paint to end
Paint red in the space between those two lines of masking tape. Let dry at least 30 minutes before pulling the tape off.
You’re done! Wash and dry as normal
