‘Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure‘: an adorable family movie to get you in the Christmas spirit!
I start busting out the holiday movies earlier and earlier every year, much to my family’s dismay. I am ALL about the spirit of the season and I’m always anxious to kick it off. I’d start my Christmas decorating and baking in August if they’d let me! But it’s November now, and perfectly safe to start gearing up for the upcoming holidays. So, round up the kids, pop some popcorn, grab the cuddly blankets, and dig in to the newest holiday movie, ‘Beethoven’s Christmas Adventure’, which comes out on DVD today.
The latest installment in the series of Beethoven family films stars Kim Rhodes (Suite Life of Zack & Cody), John Cleese, John O’Hurley, Munro Chambers, Kyle Massey, Curtis Armstrong, and the voice of Tom Arnold. The movie’s summary:
‘Tis the season to celebrate with everyone’s favorite St. Bernard, Beethoven, in an all-new, heartwarming holiday adventure where the hilarious canine speaks for the first time! When Henry the elf flees the North Pole with Santa’s sleigh and his magical bag of toys, he crash-lands the precious cargo in a suburban neighborhood tree. But when the bag ends up in the wrong hands, it’s up to heroic Beethoven and his teenage pal, Mason, to rescue Henry, fetch Santa’s toys and save Christmas for children everywhere. Featuring an all-star cast, including Tom Arnold as the voice of Beethoven, it’s a barking good time for the whole family!
Did you grow up with the Beethoven movies? Can you believe the first one came out in 1989? Crazy, right? My kids have loved them all!
