It’s my favorite time of year: Cookie swap time! You get cookies! You get cookies! Everyone gets cooooookiiiiieeeesss! Oh, I mean, the holidays are great, too. Don’t get me wrong, I love to decorate and celebrate for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Last year, we even participated in my friend’s Hanukkah festivities. I really like the holidays. I love cookies. I love the sheer quantity and variety of cookies that I encounter (and put in my belly) at cookie swaps. You never know what obscure recipe someone dug out of their great grandmama’s old, dusty cookbook to share. And, as much as I love going to cookie swaps, I don’t relish the idea of making tons of time-consuming recipes to share. Instead, I’m all about delicious, deceptively simple cookie recipes. So, if you’re like me, and you want all the cookies without the headache of being chained to your kitchen, check out these delish ideas for holiday cookie swap parties.
