I have a thing for European kids clothing brands. I will never forget my first trip to Paris with my then-fiancé, traipsing from one cafe to the next and dipping into boutiques between glasses of red wine. We weren’t yet married and had no imminent plans for children, but every time the poor guy turned his back I found myself snagging a tiny cardigan here, a ruffle-trimmed sunsuit there, for the future kids I hoped would be among the chic-est in our eventual suburb.
It used to be that the only European kids clothing brand that was remotely within reach was H&M. So, if you snatched up a fluorescent overall dress on a jaunt to Europe, your kiddo was likely to be the only one to have it. But now tons of European kids clothing is readily available now in the States via the wondrous world wide web (and some pretty great stockists).
Want to get your hands on some adorable European kids clothing brands? I’ve done the research for you! Happy shopping!

25 European Kids Clothes Brands That Will Have You Saying "Oui! Oui!"
Adore Us Babies From Sweden
Why I Love It: The exquisite kids collection from Adore Us is comprised of the most precious little organic basics, but each with a twist, like my favorite bow-detail top and unisex one-pocket leggings . Fair warning: you might find yourself on the site for a while, because their room decor and wall art are just as amazing as the clothes.
Prenatal From Italy
Why I Love It: I stumbled across the sweet designs from Prenatal while catching up on an Italian friend's Instagram feed—I had to know where she'd scored her daughter's plush velveteen rompers and singlets. From what I gather, the site is like a Buy Buy Baby for Italian tots, so you can find all sorts of things there -- but the clothes are cheeky, classic, and oh-so-cute.
Mayoral From Spain
Why I Love It: Simple: My daughters each have a few pieces from this Spanish brand of children's clothes, procured at local boutiques. Every time I look at them, I smile. The shape and aesthetic of many of the pieces from Mayoral feel adult-inspired, like this dapper jacket for boys or their fun A-line dresses .
Livly From Sweden
Why I Love It: This upscale Swedish children's boutique is an absolute homerun for mamas who love details. Even their sweatshirts feel elegant and the quality is absolutely impeccable. A friend gifted me a jumper from Livly for my newborn this summer, and I almost wish she hadn't because now I have a new (somewhat pricey) habit.
Le Petit Chiffon From Portugal
Why I Love It: From swoon-worthy basics to more dressed-up duds, everything about the adorable collection from Le Petite Chiffon feels effortlessly and flawlessly European. Bonus: many of their pieces (including these fun overalls) are available in mommy sizes, too. Twinning!
Susie and Toto From Italy
Why I Love It: This lush Italian baby brand is all about comfort and style. Susie and Toto is classically Italian but doesn't feel stiff or outdated at all. That's totally worth a twirl!
Carolina Zapf From Germany
Why I Love It: Baby cashmere. Need I say more? Well, then ruffled swim, Peter Pan collared tops, and precious little jumpers for boys round out the cuteness overload from this German shop.
Donsje From Amsterdam
Why I Love It: The delightfully unique shoes and accessories from Donsje are not only appealing to the eye. They're also ethically handmade of fair trade materials for a shopping experience you can feel good about.
Olivier Baby and Kids From the UK
Why I Love It: Quintessentially British with a modern feel and tons of Liberty prints, the clothes from Olivier are exactly what I imagine my girls would be wearing every day if we lived in London. (Yes, that's something I daydream about while stuck in rush-hour traffic in New Jersey).
Mini Rodini From Sweden
Why I Love It: Because it's AWESOME. I love when kids dress like mini adults, but I also love when they look like kids. Mini Rodini somehow manages to accomplish both. The playful illustrations will thrill any kid (I'm dying over these ) and yet there's a level of sophistication that makes them adult-covetable - like these dresses . OMG!
Caramel Baby & Child From the UK
Why I Love It: If you're an anglophile like I am, you'll "get it" as soon as you click onto the site. There's a special place in my heart for tailored clothes with a bit of a vintage twist, and Caramel does this impeccably. Their clothes aren't stuffy, but they're refined enough for a play date with George and Charlotte (just in case).
Maan Kids From Belgium
Why I Love It: Because it's playful, bright, and totally surprising. Kind of like your kids... on a really, really good day. Go to the Maan website and see for yourself!
Nelly Stella From Taiwan
Why I Love It: Though not technically European, Nelly Stella still brings that je ne sais quois. The brand is like your gorgeous friend who somehow always wears the appropriate thing and looks totally pulled together...effortlessly. The dresses are tailored but playful, and while they'd work at Easter brunch, they wouldn't slow your little gal down at the playground.
Jacadi From France
Why I Love It: Strikingly pretty dresses, stop-and-snuggle baby velour, and the most drool-worthy little guy clothes you've ever seen make this Parisian powerhouse brand a favorite of mine. My toddler's favorite pieces are all from Jacadi . In other words, I'm in trouble!
Very French Gangsters Eyewear From France
Why I Love It: Because who doesn't love a kid in glasses? Very French Gangsters takes it one step further and designs eyewear your kids will actually want to wear (and that you'll want to wear too). It's cool, a little edgy, and oh so French. Oh, the drama they would have saved me in sixth grade...
Molo From Denmark
Why I Love It: Because Molo makes the cutest kids swimwear I've ever seen in my life. And also because the whimsical, bright prints are truly unmatched (and trust me, I've looked all over the world!). Check out these dogs and these moon phases to see what I mean!
Tiny Cottons From Spain
Why I Love It: Listen, understated is not my thing! I'm more into over-the-top sequins - but I'm all in with this chic, clean line from Tiny Cottons . Simple silhouettes are easy for any kid to wear, but with cheeky prints like these, they'll make any fashionista very, very happy.
Louise Misha From Paris and Australia
Why I Love It: Louise Misha's clothes have the feel of something ultra special. They cost a bit more but they feature details and care you won't find everywhere and that can ultimately be handed down to the next round of babies. And the one after that.
Scotch & Soda From The Netherlands
Why I Love It: Because their boy clothes are killer. Lots of boy moms feel the pain of walking through the girls' department overflowing with adorable finds to the boys' section where there are a whole lotta balls and trucks. Well, ladies, I have a lovely surprise. If I had a boy, Scotch & Soda would be my go-to for cool-boy basics fit for the playground and beyond.
How to Kiss a Frog From Sweden
Why I Love It: How to Kiss a Frog will make everyone happy: your kids will love the fun details like cool fabrics and winged sleeves; you'll like it because it will match everything and is sturdy enough for the playground; and Grandma will be pleased that it looks like your kiddo got all dressed up, even though she's ready to get dirty.
Tootsa From the UK
Why I Love It: These are some of the cutest unisex kids clothes I've ever seen. Tootsa MacGinty is a perfect mix of fresh and fun, but practical enough so your kiddos can wear it every day, no matter if they're hitting the playground or heading off to school.
Feiyue From France
Why I Love It: Okay, your babes are all blinged out in their new Euro duds, but what about their shoes? Feiyue has a very cool collection of animal high tops that will make any kid run faster and jump higher. Bonus: you can now nab these rad sneaks for kids on Amazon for a steal.
La Petite Blossom From Spain
Why I Love It: La Petite Blossom nails the whole princess thing. We're talking alllll the pretty details for your sweet little girly-girl. I'm going to spend this current chapter of life putting my two girls in every frothy, flowery, feminine find I can, until the day comes when they tell me to get lost, and I let them rock ripped denim and oversized tees.
Indikidual From the UK
Why I Love It: Organic cotton reigns supreme in a variety of ultra-fun prints. There are so many adorable ones on offer from this funky British kids brand that I couldn't begin to narrow it down if I tried. From flashlights to this sushi party and well beyond.
