Kate Hudson sets the record straight on engagement rumors and baby news.
The "Almost Famous" actress went on the "Graham Norton" show to chat about expecting her second child (with Muse rocker Matthew Bellamy) and whether or not she's engaged! Rumors were flying yesterday that Kate and Matt held an engagement party on Monday in London with their close friends and family, but Kate says that just isn't the case: "No, no, not that I know of! I don't like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don't feel it necessary to get married. I am 31, I already have one child, and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy."
Kate also shared that while she's not sure yet what the baby's gender is, she feels like it just might be a girl (and son Ryder agrees with her). "I'm just starting to pop! We have a couple of names, but we're not telling anyone". "It feels like a girl, but I don't know. [Ryder] thinks it's a girl."
