New babies on the way and a celebrity wedding is called off!
- Aretha Franklin and Willie Wilkerson have called off their wedding. The couple shared: “Regretfully, To Our Friends and Supporters: Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly.There will be no wedding at this time. We will not comment on it any further because of the very personal and sensitive nature of it. We appreciate all of the many well wishes from friends.”
- Actress Jenna Von Oy and her husband Brad Bratcher, a computer consultant, are expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in June. Jenna surprised Brad with the news on their first anniversary: “We agreed on no presents, but I told him that I had something that was very, very small, which it was — at the time it was the size of an appleseed. I handed him a handmade that card and when he opened it up, it said, ‘You’re going to be a daddy,’ and it had the EPT test underneath. It was the most beautiful evening!”
- New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany are expecting their third child together. They are already parents to Baylen, 3, and Bowen, 1.
