8 Chic Baskets to Help You Keep a Clean House This Spring

Chic baskets to make it easy to keep your house clean this spring

Since having my first baby a few years ago, I’ve been on a mission to figure out ways to keep our house clean. It’s tough. The toys double and triple at holidays and even sometimes in between. It’s nearly impossible to have a place for everything, let alone keep a clean house that’s also organized.

But I’ve found that, along with having an organized playroom and bins for specific types of toys, having baskets throughout my home makes cleanup quick and easy. We keep a basket in every single room for miscellaneous items and then try hard to spend a few minutes on the weekend putting things back where they go.

I find that baskets are so important in every room to house toys, magazines, throw blankets, and extra pillows, and we even keep a pretty basket in our foyer under the foyer table for dirty clothes, since kids tend to go through clothes quickly. These baskets also make it easy to enlist the little ones to help clean up since it’s quick and easy.

Today I’m sharing eight chic baskets to make it easy to keep your house clean this spring:

Threshold Coral Dipped Wicker Basket, $9.98 – This one is a steal right now at under $10 and adds a nice springy pop of color.

Striped Cube Floor Basket, $20 –  These baskets come in a variety of colors and are an amazing bang for the buck. We own several for our playroom and one for our older son’s room. They hold a lot and look great.

White Braided Basket, $60 – I love this one! It’s not as large as some, but would be great for keys, wallets, and miscellaneous items in a mudroom or even on a kitchen counter. It would also be great to hold baby toys.

Chrome Wire Laundry Basket, $40 – I love the simplicity of this fun basket for everything from laundry to toys. So chic.

Round Metal Bin with Copper Handles, $24.99 – This bin’s copper handles are what really get me. The size is great for children’s shoes, dog toys, or blankets.

Round Rattan Basket, $40 – This piece adds warmth to any room, and you can toss small children’s toys to clean up in a jiffy before guests arrive.

Galvanized Steel Basket – For less than $8, this bin might be just the thing you need to get your laundry room, mudroom, or even playroom organized.

Seagrass Striped Baskets, $50-80 – These baskets are my favorite for next to the sofa or anywhere toys are. They will hold and hide the clutter quickly and look oh so chic while doing their job.
