Baby's Breath in a White Pitcher
Is there anything more simple and sweet than this? You can be fancy and call them by their proper name, Gypsophila, or you can be basic like me and go with Baby's Breath... because it turns out a white flower by any other name is just as sweet.
All you need to pull off this clean, fresh look is a white pitcher (or any simple vessel) and a big old bunch of these beauties.

It doesn't get any sunnier—or easier—than tossing a bunch of daffodils in a glass vase. I've always found the soothing green of the stems looks so pretty against the bright yellow of the flowers. This is a go-to floral arrangement for our home once spring rolls around.

Simple Peonies
Peonies have always been my favorite flowers. They were beautiful on my wedding day, and they bring a sense of calm and joy even to a messy kitchen now. These bright spring blooms don't need much in the way of showcasing. I favor a super-simple white canister or jug, as shown, to let them do the talking.
