How Many Kids Does Kanye West Have?

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian began dating in 2012 after being friends for several years. They got hitched in 2014 at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy. In the ten years of their relationship, Kanye West welcomed four kids with Kim: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm (via People).

Although the former power couple’s divorce was finalized on Nov. 29, 2022, the parents still have joint physical and legal custody of their four children. The kids are often spotted with their parents on various occasions.

Moreover, Kim often posts adorable pictures of her munchkins on social media, making fans and media alike curious about the little ones. Here’s everything we know about the Kardashian-West bunch.

North West

The eldest kid of Kim and Kanye West, North (also called “Nori”), was born on June 15, 2013, in Los Angeles. The 10-year-old is a fashionista like her mom and often accompanies her to fashion shows and other fashion events, with the little one dressed to impress.

As of late, North has been following in her father’s footsteps. She is not only interested in fashion design but also loves to sing. As per the latest buzz, the budding artist may launch her music career soon (via Forbes).

On Tuesday, Dec. 12, Kanye West was previewing his new album “Vultures” in a club in Miami along with North. She went there to support her father and flaunt her singing skills. North has at least one verse in “Vultures,” including a sample from James Blake.

In an interview with Style, the ambitious 10-year-old once said she wanted to become a rapper, basketball player, and painter. However, when she grows up, her biggest desire is to own her parents’ brands, Yeezy and Skims.

Saint West

Saint West is the second child of the former couple. He was born on Dec. 5, 2015, in Los Angeles. Kanye West came up with the 8-year-old’s name as he wanted it to have a “spiritual significance.”

Unlike his older sister, Saint is an avid sports lover and attends major sporting events with his parents. In November 2021, Saint received a football lesson from the best quarterback in the game, Tom Brady (via People). He even attended a Golden State Warriors game with Kanye in March 2022 (via Page Six).

Other than football, Saint is also a soccer lover. In March 2023, Saint and his friends watched England’s Arsenal F.C. play Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon in London, courtesy of his mom Kim (via People). In a September interview with CR Fashion Book, Kim Kardashian said, “Saint loves soccer so I’ve enjoyed traveling the world to see games and really bonding with him through the sport.” Kim threw a huge soccer-themed birthday party for Saint last week, including soccer ball-shaped novelty cups, birthday cake, decor, and more (via Elle).

In the October episode of “The Kardashians” season four, Kim revealed that she hired a male nanny to help Saint out as she “really wanted a male around that would be picking them up and taking them to sports.”

Chicago West

Kanye welcomed his third kid, Chicago West, via surrogate on Jan. 15, 2018. She is named after Kanye’s hometown (via TODAY). Like her older sister, North, and mom, Kim Kardashian, the 5-year-old loves fashion. She is often spotted wearing some adorable outfits on Instagram.

In 2022, on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Kardashian referred to Chicago as her “girliest girl that loves pink and purple and makeup.” Her little one proved this point when she did her aunt Khloé Kardashian’s makeup and was applauded for her skills.

Psalm West

Psalm West, Kanye’s youngest kid, was born on May 9, 2019, in Los Angeles via surrogate. His name was inspired by the “Book of Psalms in the Bible.” However, Kim Kardashian believes Psalm is her late father, Robert Kardashian, reincarnated, as they share similar traits (via People).

Kim told Vogue Arabia in 2019 that it was “too early” to understand her youngest child’s personality. His birthday party themes included the Incredible Hulk, fire trucks, and firefighters, revealing much of his interests (via E! News).

Kanye West and ex-Kim Kardashian adore their kids and do their best to make them happy.
