One of the questions I get most as a party planner is, “How can I make a big impact without a big budget?” And here’s what I tell them: “Think oversized. Think inexpensive materials. Think color. Repeat.”
Case in point: colorful oversized flowers. Instead of a fresh flower bouquet (that your little ones would most likely not appreciate that much), why not do a centerpiece of paper flowers for your next party? And to make even more impact, a wall completely plastered in them. Would make quite the statement. Here are a couple tutorials to get you started:
Giant paper flowers from Brittany – she used these at her wedding!
Paper roses from Creative Jewish Mom – These are so simple, your kids could even join in the fun and help you create them. And don’t you think that they would be more memorable than fresh flowers anyway?
