At my house, holiday baking starts in early October. With all the school fundraisers, Halloween themed parties, and family get-togethers, the months between October and December are a blur of flour and eggs in my kitchen. That’s why I am stoked to get my hands on the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia giant cookie cutter that is already selling out at Target stores around the country. But that’s not the only thing I’m excited about. Holiday cookies, in general, are getting more fun as kitchen gadget makers create more and more imaginative tools for use in home kitchens. I’m talking about unicorn and mermaid shapes, cookie rollers and giant cutters, and even stamps and cookie presses.
This brilliant cookie cutter that retails for $14.99 can pop out two dozen perfectly cut cookies at once, making the baking prep time fly by much faster because let’s be honest, the real fun is in the decorating.
