Weekend mornings are made for brunch —except for the part that includes getting dressed and waiting in line for food (and coffee). This is especially true when you have kids. Schlepping the entire family out to a morning meal is often more trouble than it’s worth. My family prefers to skip the stress and stay home in our pajamas. But that doesn’t mean that I’m obsessed with becoming a short-order cook, either.
These super simple recipes cut the stress out of cooking on the weekend, and end up just as tasty as anything on the menu at my favorite diner, too. From five minute granola, to perfectly poached eggs made in a muffin tin, check out these brilliant brunch hacks in the slideshow.
