I love my slow cooker. I love anything ‘set and forget’ and I love the fact that it makes the busy witching hour so much more bearable. I can get the dinner ready in the morning and bypass the whole ‘I’m should be cooking dinner but here I am bathing the boys instead and what are we eating anyway’ fiasco.
Slow cookers also produce the most divine melt-in-your-mouth casseroles that would turn even the pickiest kid into a foodie in no time. You can get away with purchasing the cheaper cuts of meat too, because they are exactly the cuts that slow cookers love. Think brisket, chicken thighs and chuck steak. Your slow cooker will turn them into the most heavenly meal for next to nothing.
In a quest to get you loving your slow cooker and having your little ones eat all their dinner, here’s a list of my top 10 favourite make and run slow cooker meals that the kids are going to LOVE.
Tell us, which one are you going to try first?
