Heroes of Goo Jit Zu

Messy fun – without the mess (it’s like music to parents’ ears, right?)

No parent likes the fact that children – whether baby, toddler, preschooler or beyond – tend to like to get dirty and make big ‘ol messes. Like really, really dirty and big, big messes. And they don’t tend to like to be cleaned – or cleanup, no matter how catchy your “cleanup song” is. For better or worse this is entirely developmentally appropriate and thanks to finds like the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, we can reign that in.

What do we mean?Well, the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu aren’t your run-of-the-mill action heroes. They’re squishy, stretchy, and filled with goo for mesmerizing multi-textured fun – without all the mess or time consuming annoyance of setting up sensory bins and the likes.

Every Goo Jit Zu Hero has a different goo filling and squishy bodies, arms and legs. In fact, as soon as your little one picks up one of the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu it will move in their hands as they start squeezing and squishing their bodies (they stretch up to three times their original size, but always come back to their original shape).

To go along with the heroes, there’s animated content, which helps bring to life the heroes and add color to their backstories. In fact, the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu have some pretty interesting characters! Evolving from ordinary animals and transforming into stretchy super heroes after a meteor strikes earth, they use their Goo Jit Zu fighting skills to battle evil. After checking out the Goo Jit Zu animated episodes on YouTube, children can recreate the stories with their action figures or flex their imaginative play to the next level by creating their own new adventures.

But it doesn’t end there.

Heroes of Goo Jit Zu has a new theme/range called “Goo Shifters.” What sets these heroes apart is that kids can crush the core to transform the goo (when crushed and activated it releases a color that flows within the hero’s body to “power it up”). There are seven characters to collect each with their own unique filling and transformation experience. Plus, there are five different sensory feelings children will get when playing with these toys: gooey, mushy, squishy, goopy and oozy. To go along with the new range, there’s also content available on Netflix.

The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu range can be purchased at Big W, Kmart, Target, Woolworths and more. You can also check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
